About Ethan

Ethan Starnes started E. Star Waterfowl Taxidermy in 2021 and went full-time in 2023 after graduating college. Counting the years before turning professional, he's spent 5 years mastering the craft of waterfowl taxidermy — and today his work has been recognized as the best in the country.

E. Star Waterfowl Taxidermy takes on all waterfowl species, plus a handful of pheasants each year. Customers have traveled from as far as Lubbock, Texas — a 16-hour drive — and from all over in between, to have their bird mounted here.
